Has anyone aver used any of AST VP2 Whey Protein? Or any other AST Products? Is there VP2 Whey any better quality protein than the rest of the companies? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks

VP2 is pretty good but just too pricey. The cheapest I could ever find it was about 22 for 2lbs and there are much cheaper and as good proteins out there. I switched to allthewhey.com and have several friends who made the change do to price being much better and quality being as good.

Thanks man. I did not know it was that expensive! I will look into allthewhey. Right now I have Optimum Nutr. and I really don't like it. I don't think it is a quality protein either.

I have been using Optimum whey protein for a long time, and it has been fine for me. Plus it is real cheap. Honestly it is the best whey protein product out there in my mind.

VP2 is my favorite protein along with Biotest's chocolate Grow.

VP2 is best after workout, and Grow before bed.

To me, price is not an issue, considering 24 grams of VP2 is going to yield 24 grams of protein, or close to it.

When you choose a lower quality whey, like optimum, 24 grams comes out to around 14- 16 grams of protein, and the rest is ash and other byproduct and filler.

But, I guess it's just the way you look at it.
