Try to to resize the pic -
Afaik avatars are limimted to 20 kb size.

It's been sized, I used paint. Just under 20 kb

Hmm - try to save the pic in a different format -
.gif to .jpg or the other way around -
might be helpfull !
( worked by some pics which i could`t open
with Photoshop - although they were related to Photoshop
after this they ve been accepted)
