B-12 Injections?

I don't want to get in trouble so if this is breaking any rules the mods please forgive me. Does any one know reputable and affordable sites to get either sublingual or injectable Pharm Grade B-12?

I know a few sites offer them and I even found one site that sales a sterile aqueous solution of vitamin B12 at 1000mcg/ml in a 250ml container for under $10 but it is a vet site and have to have a prescription to get it.

Anyone know of reputable sites that sell similar quantity size for close to this price without need for prescription?

From what I have heard it is completely legal and if you go to your docter he/she will give you a perscription for it. and you can buy it with the syringes from any pharmacy

I can clear this up for you..you do not need a script for vet grade b 12..go to any large animal feed store and ask them for it...50 mls is about 12.00.It works very well and I use it often. You can get it online without a script also..just easier to get at feed store.

Alright guys. Thanks for the advice. I will definitely go to a few feed stores if I can find them anywhere.

Yeah that site I was talking about I look at it and see that they have a 1-800 number where you can consult with pharmacies. $8.99 per 1000mcg/ml 250ml is hard to pass up.

Been doing research on B-12 for a few years now and ready to jump on the bandwagon now for its postive effects other then just on combating lethargicy

Ok guys what kind of dosing are you guys taking on a daily basis or do you any of you inject daily or just when you feel you need a pick me up?

i've been taking prescription b-12 for almost a year now...but only taking about 2mls per month.

With only taking 2mls a month I still noticed a difference taking it.

Not sure what the recommended dose would be for someone not deficient in b-12 though.

I've used human grade from my dr and vet grade b-complex. I use 1-2mgs per week of the vet grade. I found the HG didn't give the same effects as vet grade. Probably the additional b vitamins are synergistic.

Start with 1ml shot and see how long til the effects fade then do another and so on.

1-2 mls per week for me or anytime i feel run down..you cannot over do it with b12..and yes..the vet grade is higher strength per ml than hg.

Alright appreciate all the advice guys. I was thinking about starting off with maybe 0.5ml per week and move up if needed but like dennis said many of my friends suggest 1-2ml a week.

I am not sure if I am suffering from vitamin b-12 deficiencies but knowing how important vitamin b complex are and knowing that many nutritionist claims many are not getting the recommended dosage then maybe this along with high quality b-complex vitamins will give me the kick I need.

Oh you guys were right about not needing a prescription. I just contacted the online vet-grade supplier that sells it for $8.99 for 250ml and was told it wasn't needed. But then I just found another supplier on line that has vet-grade B-12 100ml 1mg for $3.36. I could get a total of 300ml for a little more then $10. Not bad.

So you guys feel that vet-grade Vitamin B-12 is pretty safe or do you have to mix it with something to insure sterility?

Its as safe as the other stuff you are always injecting !I use duravet product...5 ml you probably will not even feel..blast off with 2 mls and call me in the morning. If you have b deficency you will know it after the inject...if you feel hopped up ,more hungry, increase in libido, more energized then you were probably deficient.

Well appreciate it Dennis. I will be ordering today. Hopefully I can receive before next weekend. I will let you guys know how it worked for me.

Ok I was suppose to update you guys on my B-12 awhile ago but kinda got late on ordering and didn't order till this past weekend.

I ordered 100ml B-12 Vedco Brand from the supplier I mentioned and also 100ml Vedco brand Super B Complex.

Well before I even ordered, I called the company and emailed the company that I later ordered from if I needed a prescription for both since both products states that they were prescribed products.

I was told they were not. I ordered and got two confirmations and thank you's for my business.

No indication that I wouldn't receive any of the products. Well I got my package this past wednesday.

I was pretty impressed. About three days from me ordering this past sunday. Open the box and guess what. I only have the 100ml Super B-complex but not the b-12.

On transaction form it only shows that I was charged for Super B-Complex and that the B-12 was removed due to it being a prescribed item. Interesting since the Super B-complex contains b-12.

But my credit card was charge for both items so I am a little pissed about that. So I won't be dealing with that company anymore and still trying to find a supplier where I can get Vitamin B-12
at a pretty resonable price so if any of you guys can help and this isn't against Meso polices then please do.

I still plan to take the Super B complex and will let you guys know how I feel about it in a few weeks or so.

Like I said 100 times before..go to any large animal feed store and buy it over the counter..simple...your horse needs it.

Yeah mine too. I prefer to order mine from veterinary supply websites. PM for needed. been using the same place for over a year. hell, 100ml or 250ml will last a long time. cheap too. My large dog actually prefers the vet grade B-complex over the straight B-12 from his doc. Something synergistic about all the b-vitamins together i think, so he says anyway.
