Can you use anything in the place of bac water when reconstituting Serono Serostim?

You can use sterile water too. Since the vial only contains enough GH for a week or less (at typical doses), there really isn't a need for BW.

Use the sterile water that comes with the kit? I am told that the GH is only good for 24 hours if you use that.. Is this info wrong? I don't want to fuck this up. If someone can help, please help!

There is nothing to degrade the GH. The reconstitution intructions are extremely overcautious. Your GH will be fine for long after 24 hrs. You hear how "fragile" GH is....that's largely based on its short half-life in vivo, where there are proteolytic enzymes responsible for its degradation. You have purified GH, and there aren' any real forces acting on it to degrade it other than heat, which should be limited anyway.
Sterile water is fine, you'll have no problems.
BW is simply sterile water with 0.9% BA.
