Bac water going bad

Hello meso, i’ll be using the 30 ml bac water from medexsupply.com

The thing is, people talk about bac water after opening going bad in 30 days, there’s no way i can use up 30ml of bac water in 30 days

Anyone have a solution? Is freezing it viable? Thanks!

That’s a USP/FDA based general guideline under the assumption by 30 days, a multi dose vial will likely have been punctured so many times, not necessarily following proper ascetic practices, that it’ll be contaminated with an unacceptable level of bacteria.

It doesn’t actually “spoil” in 30 days. Benzyl Alcohol is a preservative preventing bacterial growth.

Refrigeration isn’t necessary or recommended.

Make sure prior to each use you wipe the top with an alcohol wipe and allow to dry before using a brand new needle to pierce the vial. Never stick the needle back into the BAC after sticking into something else (like a peptide vial).

Follow those practices and you won’t have any issues for however long it takes you to use 30ml.

I always extend it by 30 days. Buy smaller vials.

this and another good tip pull the plunger back on the syringe while the needle is still inside the packadge with the cap on . That way you have sterile air trapped inside it to aspirate the vial with.

Bac water contains 0.9% BA.. It should be good for quite some time.

last awhile! I’d just keep it in the fridge after poppin the top is all. I’ve had one in there 8 months and still mixed great!

Well i just got 30ml 25 pack from medex lol

how are they supposed to be stored and kept sterile? Just the classic basic stuff or is there any special treatment? Unopened ones should last pretty much forever no?

I've kept at room temp/not in direct sunlight for years and never had an issue.
