Back extension

Hey brothers I’m on marketplace here and I came across this back extension, it’s 300$ Canadian with delivery to me, what do you guys think? I’ve not used one before so I’m wondering if it’s a good accessory for my home gym and if you guys think it’s worth getting.

I think the one in the picture is for lower back and you push against it with your back. We have one at my gym, I've never used it though.
That’s what I was thinking it was for, but I wasn’t sure As I’ve never used it. This would just be an accessory for my home gym, I also don’t do much deadlifting since I thought this might help build that lower back up.

Ah thats for hyperextension? Naaaaaahhhh... i saw even that skinny what s called.. that skinny guy that looks like Dallas McCarver.. that won recently a big show against Mustafa Mashallà Abdullaz... dont remember.. ah yes Nick Walker... i saw him doing hyper extension with elastic bands...

Hyperextension with elastic bands and or plates are enough... i would buy a vintage pungiball machine instead...

I mean if you got the extra money and your lower back could use some strengthening and you have room for it. I'm not sure I'd pick it up personally, but I have limited room at home, and gyms are opened back up where I'm at

I’d skip man. Buy a hyper from titan or something for 150bucks us. I have their reverse hyper as well as a fully setup gym in my garage. Plus when you need to move it it will be much easier.

If you have a barbell and weights, I’d just buy a regular back extension bench and do them that way. I’ve never liked the style of one that you’re looking at. They just scream “back injury” to me for some reason.
