Male 35 years old starting weight 365lbs estimated body fat 43%.Been 6 weeks on Reta and TRT, started at 125mg Test every 5 days (175mg a week avg) and currently at 6mg Reta a week. Will be taking the Reta up to 8mg in 2 weeks and keeping it there for foreseeable future. Waist down 3.5 inches. Chest 1 inch down . Goal is 36inch waist currently at 53.5inches. Goal Weight 250ish. Currently on Week 4 day 2 of Kettlebell Program Armor Building Formula with 50lb KBs. Eating 260g of protein daily and maintaining calorie deficit. The plan is to add GH come January. And run the ABF program again. It’s 8 weeks. I’ve had zero side effects at my TRT dose, not sure if I should up it slowly to 150mg every 5 days (210mg per week) or 175mg every 5 days (245 weekly avg). I do have an AI handy but would prefer to keep my dose just low enough where it isn’t needed.

Welcome.

Since you have a lot of weight related health damage to recover from, get comprehensive labs and let bloodwork, not some arbitrary dose guide you. You’re not on a short cycle, but a long term protocol.

There are several cheap options for tests if you haven’t done them already.

Wanted to update but didn’t think it warranted a new thread. I ran labs and blood work looks as follow:

Hemoglobin: 15.3
Hematocrit: 44.0
Glucose: 76 (was not fasted)
BUN (Urea): 31
Creatinine: 1.0
Uric acid: 3.5

Total Testosterone: 9.78 ng/mL (roughly 978 ng/dL in U.S. units)
Free Testosterone: 59.5 pg/mL
Estradiol: 48.5 pg/mL

So this was taken at trough on 11/18/25 last test injection was 11/13/25. I won’t be changing my test dose anytime soon. I do plan to add Tesamorelin for 14 weeks or Opti gold tops GH for 16 weeks staying at 2iu for 8 weeks followed by 8 weeks at 4iu or I can do 16 weeks at 2ius. Just all depends on side effects. I keep going back and forth and would really appreciate suggestions between which of the 2 to run. I did run baseline labs on 10/2 before starting trt and Reta. Glucose is greatly improved. Will be checking Lipids and A1C in next labs around late December. Here are some baseline numbers for reference.

Testosterone, Total: 411 ng/dL (Normal: 300–1080)
Free Testosterone (Calculated): 81.8 pg/mL (Normal: 47–244)
SHBG: 34.4 nmol/L (Normal: 16.5–55.9)
Estrogen, Total: 43.4 pg/mL (Normal: 19–69.6)
(Total E not E2)
TSH: 2.540 µIU/mL (Normal: 0.4–4.1)
Glucose: 89 mg/dL (Normal: 70–99)
Hemoglobin A1c: 5.7 % (Normal: 4.2–5.6)(Borderline “pre-diabetic” range.)

Total Cholesterol

150 mg/dL

HDL (Good)

33 mg/dL

LDL (Calc)

103 mg/dL

Triglycerides

58 mg/dL

Ratio (LDL/HDL)

3.12
