i want to start doing cleans and snatches again. my choices are to do them on tues/thursday evenings or saturdays. the rest of my routine looks like this
Monday
box squat 13in (12 in next week) 5x5, 3's every third week.
rows 5x5
cls grip bench
weds
dead 5x5 or 5,4,3,2,1 or 10 x 3
standing oH barbell press 5x5 or 10 x 3
chins 5x5 or 10 x 3
friday
squat 5x5 or 4 x 8
row same as above
bench
I run tues/thursday mornings 2-3 miles tues, sprint intervals thursday

when i was snatching regularly, I would do snatch grip deads, high pulls and explosive shrugs on fridays. It's been maybe two years since I've done any snatches, and probably one since i've cleaned.
 
When I do the lifts I do them on the weekend so I can devote more time to them. They take a lot of concentration, so I make sure I am rested and focused.
 
decided to go with saturday, snatch was a little rough, it'll take some practice to get back into the groove. cleans felt great. going to do some front squats to get my grip back.
