BB Melting Plastic ahhhhhhhh!

So after thinking I believe I can save my brew.

I'm going to flood it with ethanol alcohol hopefully knocking the plastic out of solution. Filter the brew. Then distill or vacuum chamber the ethanol out.

Can anyone tell me if
90ml benzyl benzoate & 10ml benzyl alcohol in 500ml of liquid total
can melt plastic or how quick.

I understand if BB (concentrate) was held in a plastic cup for a few hours it will disolve,
i am guessing that 90ml/500ml will slow the process considerably. Im still waiting for my fu**ing bottle top filter and could be waiting for another 7 days. The liquid has been in the container for about 7 days

Dont store oils into plastic bottles, i lost 400ml of NPP that way… fuckin BB… i forgot it melted plastic cups like fire

bb took some minutes to melt a plastic cup and 1 month to hole a plastic bottle from
A bottle top filter kit… so now i just use glass bottle to store oil

Just the whole waiting and risk of customs. If it was legal and Walmart had it readily available I wouldn't bat an eye or does customs never catch it?

Different plastic formulations. Gas will melt plastic too but works just fine in particularly formulated plastic gasoline cans. Same thing.

Oh they do sometimes, but nonetheless the risks here would seems to VASTLY outweigh the reward.

This thread has got me thinking..

When I homebrewed, I had to pull the BB and BA from glass vials with a plastic syringe before injecting it into a glass beaker. Would the short amount of time that the BB spent inside of the plastic syringe have caused any plastic to dissolve into the BB?
