Benzyl Benzoate Freezing Point

I had purchased a BB that was stated to be 99.9% pure but it has a very high viscosity. Like syrup. I put it in the freezer and within an hour it was solid.

The USP grade did not freeze after several hours. Supercooling I assume.

Whenever I order a BB during the winter it comes in solid form. The shipment is usually 24h in temperatures below 5 degrees before it reaches me.
