Besides anabolics, How do i avoid muscle loss on a cut?

Well, think of it as a balance of anabolic and catabolic input and output

Dont have too big of a deficit, dont fast or go too long without a sufficient protein feeding, dont overdo intense exercise or exercies in general, dont overdo stimulants, t3 or other fat burners that kind of "override the system".

You can also use things that effect partitioning/oxidation so more of the energy you burn is fat vs protein or glycogen

Make your body more anabolic by sleeping a lot, moderating stress, anabolics, gh and listening to your body by backing off when you should and pushing when its beneficial.

EDIT: holy shitpants, i forgot the biggest variable to maintain muscle, training, train hard and as much or as little as you can recover from as often as you can.

at your bodyfat, muscle loss shouldnt be much of a concern, but you never know

This too. Hydration becomes even more essential once you’re cutting as lower carbs for example means lower glycogen storage which means less water plus idk bout y’all but I piss like a mfka when I cut weight (but that’s mostly due to me doing huge amts of water to then drain fluid retention, it’s a trick I learned when I used to fight n then supercompensate but idk how applicable it is in OP’s case) imo you could even gain muscle while cutting as long as you keep your protein high n you cycle carbs keep good levels of fats n lots of water diet wise, then keep lifting real heavy (nah fr try to do as much strength training as possible as it has always helped me out in the past while leaning out to train like a powerlifter, which I guess I always do but during the bulk phase I usually do more powerbuilding n then while leaning out I do the carb cycle n keep the volume a bit lower than when I’m fulla calories but still hit 10 x 3 on the main lifts then on accessories I do more bbing style).

Either way though OP you are running a pretty good amt of gear so you should be good regardless of what you do as long as you don’t cut too drastically, n fr look into doing a couple refeeds a week as that will help you keep both your strength up and also the fullness due to the cut fkin with your glycogen storage so carb tf up n bit up a pizza n a burger on the weekend or sumn like that
I agree. Especially with the refeed part. It becomes essential if you're doing a longer cut i.e. > 8 weeks. The body adapts to lower calories, and it will slow down metabolic and lots of other processes, but studies have shown that if you include some refeed days, it can slow down this process and you will have a more successful cut in the end.

This. OP is already pretty big from what I understood so doing that will avoid any metabolic slow down caused by cutting too drastically, I tried to tell one of my dumbass ex roommates this but he insisted on both bulking only on chicken n broccoli n on cutting like a retard (guy was big af but still he thought it was best if he did those horrible cuts with only one cheat day a month) n he ended up hating his life n losing some muscle all the while not being able to function during the day without fkloads of coffee n stims, should have listened to me telling him to cycle carbs n to do at least once a week a refeed but hey I understand why he didn’t at the time as I wasn’t lifting (had taken a break to do shiesty shit) n he thought he knew better cos he assumed I was just a douchebag trapper who only knew stuff bout drugs so I don’t blame him one bit but still he could have been way better n bigger so OP don’t make that same mistake n pig tf out at least once a week to both help with your glycogen, keep your metabolism going harder n for your mental state (n if you want to cycle carbs or do something interesting try doing some sort of keto paleo hybrid that’s also been a fkin amazing one in the past as suggested by Jamie Lewis, if you don’t know him check him out the guy is so underrated it’s crazy)

Nah fr check out his blog plague of strength, imo lots of people on this board would fw the guy even though at first glance he seems a bit edgy he’s chill af n probably one of the main people who inspired me to change up my training n since then I made some insane progress, just don’t open his blog at work cos it’s full of porn n fked up images ahah

Oh yeah this made me think of something: you know how some foods take more calories to digest than what they give you? Use that to your advantage too n eat some celery etc… it’s good for you n it will make your loads double in size ahah (PAUSE)

Thats not a thing. sure there is a thermic effect of digesting a food, but not to such an extent that it nullifies the caloric intake from the food.

Think about how that would make sense from a survival POV too..

Ahah fair enough tbh I was mostly thinking of weird shit while high so that post specifically might not be the most accurate, just creative thinking ahah
