best excipient to encapsulate?

I'm no cap-ologist but i would guess it depends on the compound your using. some have longer shelf-lifes and you want something thats as close a weight, grain size, and texture as the compound.

here's a link i found with two good options for general purposes (IMO):

hope that helps

agreed, depends on the active ingredient. I have some Anavar cap’d with creatine powder and I feel as long as you don’t introduce moisture, they’ll stay good for a while. I vac-seal a pouch with some silica gel packets. Won’t be cracking it open until next years cycle. Expiration on the creatine isn’t until 2024 I’d still use it even after

quick question: when you vacuum seal the caps with silica packs, do you put the caps in a bag then put that bag in a bag with silica packs? sorry if this sounds very confusing. just tryna figure out where the best place for silica packs is when vacuum sealing

edit: sorry for kinda hijacking this thread

yup, I use a bag with a silicon pack right inside, then place that in another bag to vac-seal and have another silicon pack in the outer bag (might be overkill).

Have you done that before & then left the bag sealed for an extended period?

Debated doing it myself, but wondering whether the silica would absorb too much moisture from the caps & increase the risk of them cracking / breaking / shattering - gelatine caps are quite sensitive to fluctuations in moisture content.

I got a pretty big bucket of caps that came with a big silica pack to keep in the bucket so I'm sure it will be fine.
