What kind of Mastiff is that bro? My mom has a English Mastiff and she just turned 5 or 6 on Vday. She's about 210 right now i think maybe alittle less. Awesome dog.

bro,they dont have drool flying around all the time,but they do drool exsesive when they eat and drink or outside playing.other than that theyre normal.i just keep a snot rag with me at all times. i will warn you though f you feed your dog people food or table scrapes,they drool everytime you eat or they smell it.diesel doesnt know what people food is and he dosent bother us when we eat,because we or no one else has feed him those foods.i give him snacks like apples or corrots,but never when im eating myself,i dont even feed him his food when we are having dinner.all this will keep the "slober factor" down.now the farting,snoring,and burping is a different story
if you decide to get a mastiff,do a lot of reasearch on them before you decide.an english mastiff is huge dog,and are an inside dog.they do not go well outside,and must have human contact alot.alot of people get these dogs and realize that they cant handle them and have to give them away,and you just lost 1000.00-2500.00 dollars.diesel eats 15cups of food a day,and thats a large factor in these dogs also.if you do your reasearch on these great dogs and decide that they are for you,dont go out to a "backyard breeder" and buy one because they are cheaper.mastiffs have some health problems,but they are for the most part genetic and and with a good blood line youll have no worries.ill gladly answer any questions you have about them.good luck

Cool pooch! I have considered getting my current pup (avatar) a friend and have considered a mastiff. Someone in my softball league always brings their mastiff to the games and the dog is huge and humble.

How is their temperment around the little ones or strangers?

man you can say that agian about the farting and burping.the large breed dogs all have these problems .they can get some serious dirty looks from people that are nt aware that dogs fart.

beefster,a mastiff is a very gentle dog.unless not socialized as a pup,d's dad was wasnt and therefore was very aggresive.a 235lb mean dog is bad news!as long as his owerner were around he was cool,but nobody was coming in there any other time.d has been with me everywhere including work, fishing,to the store ect...he is very social and friendly.loves kids and other dogs,but is too big for many.btw his girlfriend and best are a boxer.

as for your boxer another boxer is probally your best bet though.just because they are hyper as hell and a mastiff is a lazy fucker.lexi (his girl) wares him out and he is going to have a heart attck one day those two in the house,i would hate to see it,but they would make a great addition as long as your boxer dont kill him.
