Best Method for Drawing HGH from Vacuum-Sealed Vials?

Hi everyone,

I recently started using HGH vials from QSC, and I've noticed they come with a vacuum seal. When I try to draw from the vial, there's resistance, because of the vacuum. I’ve read that releasing the pressure can make it easier, but I’m unsure of the best method to do this without compromising sterility or wasting any product.

How do you handle this? Any tips for safely releasing the vacuum or drawing from these vials efficiently?

Thanks for any advice!

Inject air into the vial. Yes, that's going to compromise sterility, which is why you should use bacteriostatic water for all but single-use vials.
You can also draw air into the syringe with the cap on before injecting into vial. Additional modest protection.
Do you inject the same amount of air you plan to draw out? Or do you pull the plunger all the way back then put it in the stopper before even reconstituting with bac water?

Yes, I do that. Then the vial's vacuum sucks as much air out of the syringe as is needed to roughly equalize pressure. If all the air is sucked out of the vial, no problem. The remaining pressure difference will be reduced when you inject the BAC water into the vial.

After I finish injecting the water into the vial, I take the syringe and remove the plunger and reinsert the needle into the vial. That will expose the vial to atmospheric pressure and remove the vacuum. Sometimes when doing multiple vials, I'll use a 3ml syringe and simply unscrew the needle while its still in the vial.
