Best Mortar and Pestle?

What is the best mortar and pestle y'all have used? Everything I see online has had poor reviews on quality. I want something that will last and will make it easy for me to not have to worry about tons of powder sticking to the mortar itself due to the immense number of tiny cracks. I've heard heavy granite ones are good but everything I've seen from amazon says the ones listed there are fake or break apart quickly. I've seen some Marble ones perform decently. I see compounding videos using glass ones but I can't imagine those ones are great. Let me know about your experience.

just get a glass one on amazon. a silicone spatula will take care of anything sticking

I use three for making capsules for 2 would suffice for small batches. Maybe 600ml and 1500ml. Can get it off Amazon

Haven't had any issues with a glass/pyrex one.

Just becareful to use a silicone spatula for scraping otherwise you will damage the surface.

if doing small quantities I find a small brush is better than a Spatula for cleaning the mortar and pestle

Thanks I appreciate it! Does glass/pyrex not scratch up to the point it gets unusable, or do you need to get a new one every once in a while?

Still very smooth with no scratches after about 40 uses.

When you will eventually get hairline scratches, just use some filler first to fill them up before each session
