BIA or Caliper

i'm looking to find the most accurate way to measure BF @ home, skinfold calipers have been around forever but lately i've been seeing scales that have Bioelectrical Impedence BF monitors. I'm assuming they're about as accurate as the "calories expended" window on a treadmill...anyone have any idea if they're worth the cash?

those scales are junk dont waste your time or cash on those. I have a digital caliper that works real well. Pretty accurate and most importantly it is very consistent so i can monitor progress. I think i got if from dps nutrition. i am outta here but will look tomorrow. Don't buy the scales

Body fat test

I've been workin at a few fluff gyms in recent yrs. and every time we tried the bioelectrical impediance tester we'd get 10 different readings on 10 tries on the same person. i've been doing BF tests for twenty yrs., and only the calipers are worth a damn. But you need someone who knows how to read between. skin, fat, or muscle folds. With experience you can feel it with your fingers before you squeese the calipers. I.m allways with in 1 percent. just need a little practices. ( man I can't splell for F 'in shit ) Did you go to school stupid? came out the same way.
