Big month for MMA and kickboxing

Pride is on the 25th, K1 is on the 30th......and UFC already happened.....thats $ 90 of PPV in one month!!!!!

As far as K1, I know that Carter Williams and Cung Le are fighting. I have no idea who the other participants are. Barring some unknown heavyweight with immortal stamina and power, I would tend to think that Carter Williams will dessimate all of his opponents.

With respect to Pride, FCF has listed the following participants:

Two more participants will be added to make the event a full 16 man tourney.

Evidently, they are using a three round elimination format and the final will not occur until August. As I look through this list, I already expect Fedor, CroCop, Nog, and Ninja to be in the final.

Evidently, Cung Le's opponent will be a fellow from Eddie Millis' gym that a friend of mine knows.

I would assume that the K-1 card will be a tourney since it is 'battle of the belagio II' thus 4 quarterfinals, Cung's fight interspersed somewhere within, 2 semis, and then a final. I was really impressed with last year's 'battle'
