Very cool. For my biceps what I’ve felt the most is seated recline curls( face angled toward the ceiling). I set the bench all the way up, like to do a shoulder press, and recline it 3 notches back and do curls this way.Yes this is what I'm talking about. I had the same experience. For me I found the best movement to really isolate biceps was what I now know is called a monkey curl or gorilla curl (something like that). But I found it just playing around with different angles using a dumbell and with the thc in my system I was just so aware of which muscles were working I was able to isolate my bicep like never before.
I’d have full blown titties in 3 weeks! Lol~900mg Test, ~900mg Boldenone, ~900mg Deca and 525mg/wk Tren. With 50mg Anadrol, 30mg Dianabol daily and 50mg Proviron daily. These doses only lasted for a month as I needed a last push to increase weight by ~15 to 20lbs to get into a new weight class. Before bumbing the doses I had been plateua'd for 1.5months. I stopped all AIs and SERMs so I'd get some estrogen bloat there in as well.
I recently started following Renaissance periodization channel on YouTube and he talks alot about using excercises that put load on the muscle in the stretched or lengthened position. Since I’ve learned about the good scientific and shitloads of anecdotal data about how working a muscle at the most elongated position is where the most potent growth stimulus is, that’s how I’ve been thinking about everything now.
Anecdotally like how it’s known how preacher curls work for biceps, overhead Tricep extension works best for tricep growth, dumbell flys work for growing the chest. These are all exercises that place the greatest part of the load on the muscle while it’s in its most elongated position of the rep.
With dumbell flys it almost feels weird because of how heavy the weight is when your arms are all the way open, and how light it is as you go
Up, but I’ve found my chest, especially upper chest to be my only “lagging” body part. And now that’s no longer the case.
I feel that my chest was never lagging genetically so to speak, but it was lagging genetically, in that the way I’m built, most exercises that effectively work everyone else’s chest, instead for me place more load on my front delt and middle Pec instead of building my upper pecs.
So I feel sometimes lagging body parts really come down to how people are built, and they need different exercises or technique adjusted somewhat to really target what they want to target.
