Binge eating fix?

It started as 'sleep walking' which is a loose term in general. I'd get up and go sit in the kitchen, outside on the deck, random shit like that. Over time food became part of it but like I said, I never ran wild with it. My weight gain was never profound but dealing with cleaning up the kitchen from time to time kinda sucked. When you do this you have zero memory of it, that to me is the weirdest part. As I left drugs behind I also started to loose a lot of stress. As these things subsided in my life things changed for me mentally, substantially. Sleep became a real thing for me without fear if interruption and it's not something that I think I've done in over a decade now. I loose sleep because of other reasons now!
Shit reminds me of this lol

Anyone have a fix for binge eating? I may just ask my psychiatrist

Agree 100% that it should be managed without drugs / meds ... but a man's got to admit his weaknesses and have a backup plan in place sometimes.

When I go to fairs and festivals and want to avoid a total shit show of eating, I will dose modafinal/armodafinil and caffeine. 100mg moda (or 150mg armoda) with 100mg caffeine and I have no appetite, but can still eat if I choose. 200mg moda (or 150mg armoda + 100mg moda) with 100mg caffeine, and no appetite escalates into stomach in knots or doing some light flips. Not pleasant, but not bad enough to ruin my mood or interfere with having fun. Definitely bad enough to discourage any eating beyond light snacking.

On cruise I don't have to play these stupid appetite games, but on blast it helps bridge the gap. Since it is an intermittent thing and not a regular thing, I can rationalize it. It is what it is. I need to grow my discipline just as much as my muscles.

Im diagnosed bulimic (fasting type). Myy psychiatrist prescribed me prozac. She said it was the only ssri approved to treat eating disorders.
