Birth control pill side effects?

Elephant.....are we talking about "only" birth control pills and nothing else?

Elephant....I was hoping that her gynecologist had possibly explained and reviewed the side effects with her when they were prescribed??? Do you know what type she is on or will be taking?

everyone has diff sides. My ex girl used microgynon and totally lost her libido.
After that she used cileste and it was better but never the same.
Either way ever since her periods were more painful.
I think everyone reacts differently.

My girl just stopped taking the pill because it made her emotional. She would start crying or laughing for no reason and she was pretty pissed that it made her gain 5lbs. I heard the Depot shot is worst with side effects so she isn't gonna try that either, fu@%! back to using condoms.

I brought it up to her a few days ago and she really didn't seem interested. Didn't give me a yes or no answer either. Cost isn't a factor in any of this either...the company she works for gives full medical benifits. I told her if they make a male birth control i would take it! LOL. We will figure something out though.

my wife used the depo shot 2 1/2 years ago and is still effected by it. Has major headaches now (ever since the shot) and they can't explain why. There is very little sex drive and she is only 21 years old! Before the shot she was very sexual, but now she has no desire. Her moods swing back and forth especially on her period. Her doctor said she is near menapause (hormone level), but are hoping they will straighten back out with the pill. They don't want to give hormone replacement yet because of her age. The shot was out of her system 1 1/2 years ago but she is still suffering from it. Would never advise anyone to take it, it has basically ruined our lives.

the pill messed up my relationship with the love of my life. Guys, its fuked up.
Moto, you need to get your womnan to work on a programme to boost her oestrogen naturally. Eating alot of yam will help big time. ALso try loads of natural supplements. Doctors with all these drugs wil mess her up, she is way too young.

I have been on the pill now for 9 years. I never gained any weight and if you talk to SikFuk! I have no problems at all with my libido. The only side effects I have now, is that I get my period every third month, as oppossed to every month, since I have been on it for so long. I talked to my doctor about it and she said it's fine, I don't need to take a break from it since I don't smoke. If your girl is thinking about, she should do her research though. Also, if she has a good GYN, she shouldn't have a problem talking to them about it. All brands have possible side effects, just depends on her body.
