my girlfriend is wanting to do a cycle of AS but she is on the shot I haven't read any information as to how this would effect one another (the AS vs. the shot) does anyone have any input on this?

No bro, she will be totally fine , AS dont affect the pill, actually AS makes the pill even safer as a contraceptive.

Check what Nandi12 the administrator at Cuttingedgemuscle.com , wrote about that issue. They have a lot of knoledge there . Once at that board look for birth control post.

kent1 is right, no problem with AAS and pill. Antiestrogens on the other hand can cause problems (Nolvadex)

Basically the same thing, only different delivery method.
No, it's not. Depo-provera is very different than pills by oral adminstration: different pharmaceutical compounds with difrerent metabolism in the body. Nor am I a proponent of Depo. It can take up to a year for women to regain their hormonal homeostasis and it has a few side effects, of weight gain is the most notorious.

I would not recommend tinkering with a hormonal situation that is already entrained by Depo. Taking androgens could exacerbate the hormonal instability.

as a chick..i can tell you that they are all different..i tried the pill but it made me really sick and nauseous.. as far as efficiency and low side effects.. she might want to try the patch or the nuva-ring...those wont be compromised with steroids whatsoever =)

Then I shall rescind my statement. I was an ornery cuss last night after working with those retards all night. My bad.

Grizz, it is a real word. Check out dictionary.com and look under definition 2.

Besides that, Labrat knows more about endocrinology than 100% of people on this board, bar none.
