There's a possibility of not actually enforcing it by the miners and mining invalid blocks, which would lead to reorgs and massive fuck ups generally, if I understand it correctly.

Over 80% of miners have locked in bip. should be no more risk, hence why everyone is invested their money back in... Bitcoin will hit 3500 in the next 10 days

How long does it take to transfer from coinbase to blockchain? Coins base is saying pending for a while now.

Usually 20 minutes. Could take a few hours though. How long has your transaction been pending for?

About 1 hour so far
There is a note in yellow when youre sending it out now that delays are happening due to high volume/transactions for btc & eth.

August 1st is fast approaching. The article states that regardless of segwits gaining support there still might be a 2nd chain called bitcoin cash. Also many exchanges plan to halt withdrawals, deposits and possibly trading on August 1.

I do not understand this whole Bitcoin thing. I have been doing a bit of research but I'm not big into gambling. However, a lot of sources now use Bitcoin.

It's much more convenient than MG/WU. It's hard to understand when 1st starting out but can pick it up the more u use it. It's supposed to be untraceable but I don't think it's as cryptic as made to believe. There's a lot of cryptocurreny popping up lately, although not as popular or as high a value as BTC.
I'm no expert but I'd be happy to help try and clear up an issues or questions u might have.
