oops my bad. I did not mean Schedule I. Obviously, Schedule I a Doctor cannot write for - Schedule I = No Accepted Medical Use.I believe NP's and PA's can only write for Schedule IV and V without an MD or DO's cosigning. But for Schedule I, II and III PA's and NP's need an MD or DO to cosign. I know for a fact PA's can write for tramadol and Benzos (Both Schedule IV) with no cosignature but for Schedule II opiates they must have an MD or DO cosign along with them.
