Body rejecting shallow intramuscular/SubQ injections - advice needed

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a recent experience I had with injecting testosterone, and see if anyone else has had a similar issue. I've been on a cycle that requires frequent injections, and for a while I was injecting into my love handle without any issues. However, one of my injections got infected, most likely due to human error on my part. I switched to a new vial and started injecting into other areas like my shoulders, quads, and glutes to avoid any further issues.

After starting antibiotics for the infection, I immediately started experiencing issues with every injection site except for the ones in my glutes. I would get large knots or golf-ball sized masses in my skin, and upon doing an ultrasound at the emergency room, it appeared that my skin was having some sort of reaction and hardening itself. Interestingly enough, there were no abscesses, and it almost looked like the shallow injections into the muscles were being pushed back out. It's been 13 days since the first trip to an urgent care. The infection is completely gone, but the hardening of the skin is still apparent and will probably persist until it works its way out of my body. I am assuming the reason for the persistence of the hardened skin is the carrier oil not being water soluble, making it harder for my body to rid it.

I've tried injecting into various muscles, but it seems that anything other than a deep intramuscular injection in my glutes is being rejected by my body. Has anyone else experienced this issue before? If so, I would love to hear about your experience and any advice you may have.

Additionally, I'm now on a cycle that requires frequent injections of Tren Ace, and I'm not sure what to do now that I'm having this issue with my body rejecting shallow intramuscular injections. I only have access to my glutes. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help and insights.

SQ tissue hates high concentration and test prop in many people.

IM is the way. Sometimes shallow IM will leak SQ.

Its likely your source is the problem. ( messed up recipe) it doesnt sound like infection but PIP flu reaction. Severe PIP will mimic infection in almost every way.

IF the issue is too high concentration of raw powder/solvents/etc you can dilute the AAS with sterile oil.

400 mg ibuprofen+500 mg acetaminophen is your best friend as soon as you feel that pip coming on. ( You can save the combo for most severe cases and use ibuprofen only most of the time)

I would avoid SQ injects and try switching sources. (My experience; Many of years of personal homebrew, used different sources, medical professional, and close friends with famous UGL brewer)

I use Titan Test cyp sub q using a 27g insulin pin and put the vial on the radiator to warm up for a few mins before injecting and also ensure I don’t inject more than 0.25ml per shot, LITERALLY pain free.

I find in general, avoiding short acting test esters like prop ,sust etc and having GSO as a carrier and sticking to cyp and avoiding Enanthate really helps when doing sub q.

I had this happen before but like a dumbass I shot 1ml cyp in my lovehandle. It made a huge knot and I did not go to the emergency room.. my body absorbed it within a month but you could still see the damage it did for about 2 months but it went away. I still finished the vial but I just did it in the VG with a 25gx1 needle. This was my first time trying Sub-Q and I will never do SUB Q anymore. I've had zero issues as long as I get it deep in the muscle.

Sounds like a bad source or your body not liking then solvents/ carrier oil used possibly a combination of both.

Also it sounds like you started a cycle whilst still running antibiotics for the possible infection.
That’s a really bad idea, you didn’t give your body enough time to fully recover and your immune system would have already been under extreme stress. At that point even a shot with perfect pharma gear might give a negative reaction, as your body is highly reactive to any extra stress placed upon it.

I didnt start the cycle while during taking antibiotics. The infection happened 5 weeks into the cycle. I think the way I worded things could’ve made it seem like there are different starting points. I wonder if my body is negatively reacting to EO. It is just weird how the strange rejections/reactions started happening the day I started taking antibiotics. Which was about 6 weeks in using the same gear. Thats why I am confused.

This is very helpful as this is exactly what happened to me. Thank you! It's been 1 month for two knots, but I also injected a few times there. The other places, the left shoulder, it's been about 2.5 weeks and it's almost gone. The right shoulder, the knot is gone. The left thigh, it is almost absorbed. Right thigh, absorbed. But the lovehandle and stomach... Lol.... They are getting smaller and they are discolored, but they are still there and hard. I'll keep away from SubQ and just stick to deep injections. But it still leaves the question... Anyone have suggestions to how I should rotate then? This cycle is Tren A and of course I can do EOD if I please. I just don't wanna keep poking the same areas.

It could be the source, body reaction to carrier oil, or just your body not liking subq. Like one of the other posts said, shallow can still deposit a little in subq. There are a few threads of people who just react poorly to subq. For me every single time I injected subq I would get a large node under the skin and the more ml the large the node/knot. Some were hot and uncomfortable some were just the node. Most went away after a week but I had some of the larger ones last over a month and it’s uncomfortable. When I use a 1/2-3/4 into the delta or quads no problem, same with VG. Flutes I use a 1” and no problem.

ya antibiotics can cause allergies to get worse... forget the mechanism they think however we know gut flora is destroyed and flora is also linked to allergies becoming worse..and can lead to a 'hyper' inflammatory state hen gut flora is messed up. Also not surprising body associates the oil with infection and would want to get it out. possible bad gear aswell, unless know what error u were doing to cause infection.
