Please post those labs here, too, so we can compare with the timeline and see how ferritin recovers.You know, overall I feel fine now. The first day after donating blood was rough and of course, genius move on my part to hit a heavy back session right after. The pump was awful, muscles felt flat, and everything that usually feels tight just… didn’t. The next day felt strange too: a bit light-headed, some dizziness when standing up, and I had that low-ferritin fatigue where you just feel kind of empty inside.
Now things are stabilizing, energy’s back and training feels normal again. I’m guessing my ferritin will bounce back in a couple of weeks. I’ll run labs again in 3–4 weeks to make sure everything’s settled.
Personally, I have never had low ferritin, but even multiple donations and self draining have never dropped my hematocrit to 48.
