For all of you complete morons who say Barry Bonds is overrated, and not the best hitter in baseball--- Try to argue against these stats-- These are current as of Wednesday night--

MLB Rankings
Average .367 1st
Base on balls 181 1st
Intentional walks 92 1st
Slugging %.813!!!
Runs 101 2nd
Homeruns 35 5th
On base % .612!!!! 1st
Also, he has only struck out 26 times--I dont know what that ranks, but it is amazing to have more homeruns than strikeouts--


I dont care if the guy is an asshole in the dugout, apparently it doesnt hurt the Giants, who have virtually no one else worth a shit, but are a playoff contender--

If you wouldnt take this guy for a season or a few more ---You are an idiot, he shows no signs of slowing down

I agree w/ you SB he's a goddamn monster @ the plate & always has been. No signs of slowing down. Dick or not he's definitely the best active player, jury still out on his seat in the annals of the game..

honestly i think u r way off silverback. I have not once seen someone say he isnt a great hitter. Best in baseball right now by far. I hate him b/c he is a classless piece of shit. I also hate him b/c his fans are so fucking naive and believe everything that cocksucker says as gospel. That shit pisses me off. With that said I wish he was the Braves first baseman

Bonds is the best ever, period. As time passes, the next generations of fans will talk less about Barry's personality, and more about the unbelievable numbers he has posted. Barry is god (He is the one that tells Neo to smoke weed)! It doesn't matter that he talks like a girl.

Last I heard, steroids don't improve hand eye coordination...which is waht you need to hit a baseball in the first place.

I just watch sports shows, and people write in and say he is not that great, or hes only good because of steroids-- I use steroids, but I cant hit a 96mph heater---- This was not to offend anyone(except KTCK Sports lol, but I am sure he will be in before long to comment--

BTW--- You a Braves fan-- I live in Atlanta so I am a long time fan, I also wish he was the Braves first baseman, or right fielder-- I am actually going to a game this weekend =-Braves vs. Giants-- Hope Bobby will pitch to Bonds a few times--

I just despise the guy. It isnt b/c he uses roids and GH. That is a retarded reason not to like him. Anyone who says steroids didnt get him to be the homerun king though is on crack. Steroids dont help the coordination but they do help you hit it further. This translates into a ton of extra homers. Look at his average homerun distances. Even back when he was beating McGuires record. His average didnt clear the fence by far.
Now he hits bombs at the rip age of 40 something. Case in point is Marcus Giles. Giles has come to be a powerful hitter. Probably would hit over 30 homers this year until he broke his collarbone. Now he literally has warning track power and admits it. Bonds can mishit a ball and put it out now.
My biggest hate for him came about when he bad mouthed babe ruth. What type of person bad mouths previous greats of the game? Babe is the reason baseball stuck around as americas pastime. Bonds is a classless prick. I hope he gets fucking injured

No juice=no stats. Without juice...he would have been mediocre. Just being a purist.......he cheats. Pujols or Arod play the game on a purist level..no roids, etc. While his accomplishments are outstanding.....he's flawed.

Jose Canseco - juiced to the gills, stats for a career arent that great. BB can hammer any pitch, in any area of the plate. Hes the best, plain and simple.

But who gives a fuck..Opening kickoff sarts in 21 hrs.
