Bottle Top Filter rating

Been brewing for a while but usually small batches around 100ml. Today I made a 400ml batch after about 200ml the filter got really slow so I assumed it was getting clogged. I was using whatman zap cap 500ml. Is it normal for 500ml bottle top filter not to be able to filter 500ml?

Depends on how clean your mixing beaker and raws are, the viscocity of carrier and the temp of the oil you are filtering. And of course .45 or .22 filter... ive seen as good as 1.5 liter out of a single .22 filter with an extra thin carrier

What membrane type do you use? My supplier has only PES membranes in bottle top filters, are those ok?
