Bottle top filter set up

I think im just going to stay a peasant and do syringe filtering. I don't mind it, it's just time consuming. Plus i already have everything i need for it.

Between bottle top and syringe filtering, how much time would you say you save? I can do 50mls of oil using syringe in like 30ish mins.

IF anyone has good ways to speed this up, I'm all ears. I use the caulk gun, but would like to find a way to have constant pressure without standing there with it for every damn second.

If doing 50ml batches syringes (thinking caulking gun) are fine and smaller than that like 10-20 just a basic syringe filter right into the final vial. It's mainly the hassle saved. More a set it and forget it. Most of what I've seen done was safflower or GSO oil and with the Durapore filters it seems to take a while...but I'm fine with that. MCT is probably faster.

Anyone know how many ml you can filter through one of the zapcaps??

Did you ever find an answer to this? I was wondering if it will actually filter 500ml with no problems or if I should do maybe 250ml at a time. I know whatman actually makes smaller sizes as well.

I did not. However 400 went through smoothly

I don't have the answer for the bottle tops but with Whatmans I use them until filtering is too hard to keep pressing them and little is coming out anyways so in other words it's clogged and needs changed.

Ime so far it comes down to how much mg per ml I've made and how much volume.

So like 50ml of 250mg/ml test enth gets less out of one than 50ml of 100mg/ml Masteron. The filters bind up faster with a stronger higher concentration.

The bottle tops are the same way. So it depends on what you're pushing through them and how strong it is.
