Bottletop filter queries?

Hey guys, currently ran a big batch of test prop through my setup i now have. Electric vacuum pump is the bomb! I am needing some new bottle top filters. I have glanced through multiple threads all contradicting one another.

Corning Nylon i currently have been using i can purchase 12 from amazon and get them shipped to the uk

Autofil PES people swear by this that they work, others say they dont. I can buy a 24 pack for the same price as the 12.

I will mainly be brewing, sus, deca, test e and prop. Can anyone shed some light on whether the autofil pes will work?

Many thanks

I have never used PES, but my research indicates that using a Nalgene Nylon (red) filter units and replacing the bottom portion with a Hybex bottle before starting the filtration process will give you a clean product without hassles. I swear by Nylon. I would brew with 18%BB, 2%BA, and Grapeseed oil always without any issues.

Now, I am really interested in Ethyl Oleate as of late, but I have heard that they eat through the plastic parts on disposable filters, regardless of the membrane that you choose. PVDF is the only membrane that reliably filters EO, but the plastic parts of the filter are still an issue from what I've heard.

I hope this helped!
