So 30 years old been blasting and cruising for years.
Been cruising on test for a year now and only blast during the summer for 3 months.

My bp has always been around this or even higher in past. Family has history of high bp.

Was dumb when I was younger and never went to Dr so now that I'm older I'm finally trying to get on top of it.

Bp average is usually around 150/90 sometimes less. Been seeing my Dr and I'm going to start taking a low dose bp med to help it starting this week.

I wanted to start my blast June 1st. Was going to do 300 test and 300 npp for 12 weeks with anavar the last 4 weeks.

Trying to keep doses moderate. You think I cam still do my blast and just monitor my bp closely and drop back to cruise. Hoping the bp meds help big time.

Just wondering what you guys think?
Thanks !

Thats kind of high. You can do as you wish. Most here would say no.

get a bp monitor. And check it 2x a day. See where its at. Make sure to get a big cuff if you have bigger arms than an average person. Like bigger than 16 inches.

once you know these reading you can than evaluate what to do.

Take the blood pressure medication and see what happens to your blood pressure (I hope you have an arm cuff). Don't start your blast until you have a new baseline for blood pressure.

I would consider these levels "just acceptable" for blasting but undesirable year round.

I would recommend also getting blood work for kidney function (eGFR) to check for any long term damage or imminent failure.

Yea I got one. Egfr was 57 last time. Getting bloods again today. Creatinine was high so assuming that's why egfr was low. Egfr isn't a good measurement more like an estimate best on creatinine levels, age, muscle mass

I’d never blast at that BP. Take that for what it’s worth. Prolonged high BP is one of the strongest contributors to early mortality.

Get yourself into high-normal range at worst and then slowly introduce light blasts.
Sounds good man. Pretty sure it's been high for years and as a dumb kid didn't really think about it till now. Cut my trt dose down to 125 and going to try to get on top of this

Been getting 138/88 lately now so moving in the right track. My right arm is always less though. Like 130/78 and I know that could be a sign of blockage or something anyone else get that?

Edit: think I'm just more relaxed some times. Got the same number on left arm too. Stress def a huge factor for me as well.

Anything more than a 10mmHG difference in systolic or diastolic between arms can be a sign of blockage, diabetes or a heart issue. I’d bring it up to your Dr. for sure if the difference is consistent.

Yea left was lower than right last time I checked so not really much difference

Take a beta blocker
They put me on an ace inhibitor

Heard they can affect your kidneys in a good or bad way though. Last blood work my egfr was 57. Was also supplementing creatine and since then stopped and just got new blood work today so we will see if we get a more accurate egfr reading

My friend is a cardiologist and he takes lisinopril.
I’m in your boat, I take irbesartan because it improved arterial compliance in elastic and muscular arteries, whereas lisinopril improved it only in elastic arteries.

OP, have you tried just throwing some cardio at the issue? 138/87 is probably right at the point where cardio every day would bring it down to a desirable range. You have the added benefits of better lipids and better sex too.

Man I swear by berberine/metformin and cardarine while blasting too. Hell, you could even throw some minoxidil on your face or head for hair growth (although not super effective for combating androgenic alopecia, it's effective for facial hair growth) and see a small to moderate impact on your blood pressure.
