Brewing coach (I know sounds weird)

Yepp yepp! Test E has no place in my medicine cabinet, I bought 400 grams of it once, split between me and a friend, none of it was useable. The pip was horrendous, it also melted all over the place, we threw every bit of it away. IMHO go with Test C, or maybe narta will coach you through a good bit of Test D--now you're talkin!

if you were not aware of this
getting raws ftest e raws with less of that should give less pip.
we have known there has been something wrong for 10+ years
Yes , but so far I have not seen a source sell pipless test E ,there are always reports of pip from people, the thing is, like most of the stuff we inject, some cause pip in some people and some don't so is the case for test E no matter the actual chemical reason.
only pharma I have seen been "Fine"

even then, Screw Test E. No reason to use something that Test C cant do.

Welcome. It is a fun hobby to brew it, try it on yourself, get golf ball sized lumps that last for days, try it again hoping for a different outcome in a different spot with a different needle over and over again with no avail. Finally you get a brew with no pip, no lumps and you want to cry because your so excited and e2 is so high.

It's totally worth it. Enjoy the journey.

is this what happened to you? If so what was the cause? Did you figure out what mistakes you made initially?

IF test E is what he has on hand, I would defo use it and screen for CRP levels in bloods. If CRP is higher that last no Test E, then there is a direct link of inflammation and I would chase that rabbit hole. Maybe a topical anesthetic like lidocaine?
I've never used Test e, but have raws. Would that be the solution... add lidocaine if it's causing PIP? (after CRP test of course)

Sure did. I am new to it. So a big part of it is my stubbornness to not listen to other people. Decided to start with Test propionate and brewed it way to strong @ 200mg/ml 2/20 in MCT. First mistake.

Decided to try to "water" those down to 100mg/ml 2/20 in MCT. Basically split the 10ml I brewed into 2x 10ml vials and put 5ml in each. Added MCT, BA, BB at the same ratios and still gave me pip.

Decided to try a new brew with castor oil after reading through @narta Castor oil thread with 100/mg 1/15. Holy thickness. Tough time getting it through the filter. Tried it and took 10 minutes to get in to the muscle. Still got pip and a lump but not as bad.

Tried Castor oil at 100mg/ml 1/50. Much more thin and easier to inject but this was one of the worst for pip and literal golf ball lump.

Tried Castor oil at 50mg/ml 1/50. Again, massive amount of pip, same golf ball lump and lasted for 7+ days until is started to go away.

Decided to try MCT again. @Dirthand mentioned going lower than 100mg/ml. Went 70mg/ml 1/10 and bingo. No pip. No lump. Been using it for a few weeks on 1 side of my glute and it is solid.

Went back last Tuesday to try the Castor oil 50mg/ml brew 1 last time on the fresh side that hasn't been hit in a while. Same reaction as before. Massive golf ball lump from it that is still annoyed 7 days later. Finally parted ways with it in the garbage.

Next try is Castor oil with Miglyol 840 and skipping the BB.

All of that came from my notes. Highly recommend taking notes of every brew attempt, "batch" number, concentration, carrier oil, how much BA/BB, injection site, how the injection site felt, how YOU felt from the injection (seems like people react different to IM vs SubQ), pip or not, lump or not, subq or IM.

I learn by trying stuff. Trial and error is the best teacher for me but listening to people when they tell you something might not work probably would have saved me some time.

This is a perfect hobby for you are a wanna-be scientist and you like to experiment.

so probably best to follow the tried and true recipes and not be to adventurous

I can attest that once you learn something the hard way...... you never fucking forget.. I always seem to have to learn shit the hardway.......

Lidocaine lasts for maybe about 30 minutes. It is a numbing agent. It wont reduce inflammation or lower CRP levels(Cause CRP is associated with inflammation).

Test E causes PIP(post injection pain) this would be the course over multiple days.

The most obvious answer is not use it when there are other esters available. .
