Brian McNamee Calls Coaches the Biggest Steroid Pushers

Brian McNamee, the convicted steroid dealer claiming to have injected Roger Clemens with steroids and hGH, recently told a group of high school guidance counselors that coaches had a greater influence on a young athlete’s decision to use steroids than street corner dealers. He suggested that the “win-at-all-costs” attitude pressured student-athletes to use steroids. “Most coaches don’t care about you as long as you put yourself in a position for the team to win.”
