LOL, drug dealing as a "community service".

Good service by a vendor is recognized through repeat business and a solid reputation brings in more customers.

This results in the well earned reward of more sales and greater profits, which is the entire point, not love or admiration.

Now if a seller is having other issues, like obtaining good stock from a reliable source, making the business more trouble than it's worth, an asshole customer or two could be enough to push him over. the edge into "fuck this", but that wouldn't happen if things were smooth and the prospect for lots of money was still there.
