bulk chicken breast

As did I...

While I agree... my point is that ALL the birds you buy in a grocery store are nothing but the industrial birds... Paying more in a grocery store is simply indulging in fictional thinking.

As you say, unless you are buying direct from a farm you are personally familiar with, you are just buying mutants.

When buying mutant meat, cheap is the same as pricey. The only difference is marketing bullshit.
I don't know what grocery store you're shopping at. My grocery store... I get organic farm raised antibiotic free chicken.

yea I have to second this. Like I am sure organic farms are still shitty looking but there is a difference in quality of meat.

I just bought some chicken thighs has to be close to 12-15 lbs for a great discount from Costco.

Chicken thighs I can house. I have an issue eating large amounts of chicken breast

What on earth are you thinking is the difference between a $7 chicken breast and a $4 or $2 breast....? Ambiance? There are no Kobe chickens.

All of these idiot fucking birds come out of the same cloaca as the next.
lol.. you must have some shit senses if you can't tell the difference between a bottom barrel breast and a premium breast. i wish i was like that. save me lots of money

If i buy from Kroger I usually get their simple truth brand. It is usually a dollar or 2 more per lb but the breasts are the size they should be. I usually dont have to because i have a butcher close by that has farm raised chicken in stock so i am lucky. I would suggest if you have local farmers markets go check them out. Those dudes will sell you a freezer full of chicken for a deal same with cattle farmers, buy a cow and they will bring it to your house ready to throw in your freezer.

Working on a chicken farm reminds me of that scene in napoleon dynamite. Lunch break a glass of eggs with some more eggs. So gross.

Its true. It’s disgusting how much fat Americans consume.

I didn’t realize it until I started tracking my macros. I was easily eating 120-150 g a day eating “clean”. As in beef and rice.

I never know what a good amount of fat is. I see some saying 50 grams and some 120. Guess it all depends. I just ate a 14 Oz New York strip to hit my last 1200 calories for the day. Happily sitting here sweating. merica.

i look and feel better on a moderate carb diet, as in 150g or less, and keeping my fats and protein up there. if i'm doing 200 carbs per day i can't move. i think it's how unbalanced how most people in this country (assuming you're american) are eating. couple years ago i sat at shake shack and ordered a double cheeseburger, cheese fries and a beer. to me that's an outrageous meal which made me feel like a piece of shit after, but to think that a lot people eat like that every day or at least multiple times a week is astounding.
