I will be doing my first cycle soon, and I'm researching bulk dieting for on cycle.
Tho they likely won't be needed for people to answer this question, I'm sure I'll be asked.. so I'm...
- 6'4"
- 200lbs
- 15% bf
- currently cutting on approx 2700 cals a day... down 13lbs so far.
- I train 6 days/wk, PPL split. Cardio about 4 days a week for the cut.
I'm looking for general rules of thumb for nutrition while on a bulk. Not so much what kind of foods to eat (I have a good handle on this aspect, but certainly all suggestions welcome), but moreso what macro breakdown should be for a bulk, what initial calorie surplus should be, and knowing how and when to increase calories when needed.
I currently only really track protein macros and total daily calories, but certainly fat is kept quite low compared to carbs. I eat about 1.25g/lb protein currently.
I'm just wanting to do my first bulk cycle as optimally as I can.
