So feeling a bit burned.

what can you do to lessen overtraining/overreaching?

is doing something like bronkaid ok? Or will it take your CNS and make gaining even worse or burned out.

How negative can muscle growth have when over reaching?

i am going to workout anyway, but i dont want to lose muscle if thats possible.

What I like to do when I feel burned out is take a week or so and just go to the gym and do a bunch of high rep pump work using the exercises that I enjoy the most. No deadlifts, no squats, just light fluffy stuff.

That way, you can let your CNS and mental state recover without feeling like you're missing out on hitting the gym. A week or two off-program isn't going to affect your muscle growth to any appreciable degree. I generally go back to my regular lifting stronger than I left off after taking a short break.

I agree, time off will not himder muscle growth.
I was thinking working through the burned out feeling can hinder muscle growth. if going at same intensity. unless this is not possible

good idea, about high reps.

You take a deload and recover, not beat your body in to the ground by trying to tough it out.

using stimulants as a crutch for this is only going to mess you up i the long run, your body is telling you something so listen to it.

If you continue pushing through you'll eventually reach an overtrained state and you might have to take even longer time off to let the fatigue youve built up over time dissipate and you end up losing a lot of strength and waste time. You'll probably get injured before you get to that point though.

Take 6-10 days of EASY low volume workouts and stay far away from failure. Eat atleast maintainance and focus on stressing down and sleeping hard.

Will be doing high reps low weight for a week, and see how it goes. Like 15-20 reps of low weight not going to failure, like 3-4 in reserve to just get a pump. Doing 3 exercises per muscle in my splits.

this is from what i gathered. Thanks for the help. And articles

would that be a low enough deload.

like 50% intensity.

Totally agree about the high rep work and a bit of time off. Tend also to work on unilateral movements to make sure that each side of my body is firing correctly whilst maintaining joint stability..... Had some issues with my shoulders, discs and knees in the past and this has prevented any reoccurring injuries. Bit of tlc never hurt.
