I'm looking into building a home gym soon. one thing I'd miss at the gym is the cable machines, lat pull downs, tricep press downs, cable flies...
I've pondered on ways I can replace these exercises. Maybe replicate some of them with bands anchored at different positions. buying expensive weight stacks tjat have a high and low pulley.
I ran into this piece of equipment:
seems like a good substitute. I figured two of those rigged to opposite sides of a power rack and I might be able to do cable flies. I seen a video where someone rigged two, one up top and one down to create a low pulley, for cable rows, curls and the likes.
I'm wondering if anyone has or used this piece of equipment. or if you have any other suggestions please let me know.
