Cable curls

I like the straight bar but having some elbow pain so it’s a no go right now. I also really like the two handed rope, start off like a hammer curl and turn wrists out at the top. On the way down bring the arms forward to get a full stretch all the way down slow. Great finisher do some heavy full rom sets and finish with some pump style partials burn out. Also do one handed curls facing away from the pulley with my hand starting behind me for full stretch back and then all the way up like a concentration curl

Yeah I saw Lee Priest does those facing away cable curls with a rope. Joesthetics did them too but he did a version where he stands further away from the machine, He claimed this reduced stress on your elbow.

I use a handle to do them 1 arm at a time. Facing away frow the pulley makes the movement a little easier as the mechanical advantage is better and the weight is a little easier to lift. I usually face the pulley to get the the most out of the weight i'm lifting but may turn around after i het failure to get a couple more reps. How far i stand from the pulley changes the the degree of difficulty as well. Line of pull matters for me.

Incline dumbbell curls will change your life. You will get a full stretch on every rep, and it really makes it much harder. It also makes it very difficult for your back/shoulders to assist. If you haven’t tried this, give it a shot.

Nothing gets my biceps more then this.

I like using a handle for 1 arm at a time. With the cables I try to really focus on isolation and getting a good squeeze on top.
