Yeah I saw Lee Priest does those facing away cable curls with a rope. Joesthetics did them too but he did a version where he stands further away from the machine, He claimed this reduced stress on your elbow.I like the straight bar but having some elbow pain so it’s a no go right now. I also really like the two handed rope, start off like a hammer curl and turn wrists out at the top. On the way down bring the arms forward to get a full stretch all the way down slow. Great finisher do some heavy full rom sets and finish with some pump style partials burn out. Also do one handed curls facing away from the pulley with my hand starting behind me for full stretch back and then all the way up like a concentration curl
