Can my doctor do this?

I was wondering can my doctor cut me off of TRT cold turkey. All my blood levels are always within his specified range. Doesn't seem he wants to renew my script, maybe he thinks I'm abusing. Thanks for any input

It's not heroin dude, but yes if choose not to comply with your physicians instructions he could discontinue your TRT.

Bottom line physicians are under no
obligation to provideTRT to patients!

Oh perhaps it's become apparent to him your supplementing "TRT" with AAS, and that's NOT what TRT is for!!!

Not sure what would become apparent to him when test levels are always in the high 700s or low 800s right where he wants me to be. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Also he's made it known to me that he treats people who have abused AAS because their hormones are messed up and they need help either way. 10 bucks a month for test is a deal I don't want to lose

FYI.
Since a viable Doctor / Patient relationship approaches the impossible when a patient overtly lies about their social, medical, surgical or psychiatric history etc, I've released several patients from my care bc of overt LYING, especially when controlled substances are involved.

Due diligence in Texas (and several other states) may involve the physician reviewing the readily available CSDB (Controlled Substance Data Bank) to ensure patients are not doctor shopping, or abusing these drugs.

That's not to suggest physicians may not aid those ADULTS who elect to use AAS, or legitimately need TRT (AND IF YOU ARE TAKING ANY AAS you do NOT QUALIFY for "TRT") bc I do that twice a week and am proud of it!

Did you ask him why he doesn't want to renew the script?

Well I spoke to his receptionist and he never called me back. But he did just renew it but only a weeks worth. Normally I get 6 month worth of refills but 1 week is just lame so hopefully he sends over some blood order forms soon.

Find another doctor, and don't wear a muscle shirt to your appointments. I always wear a loose fitting sweater or sweatshirt. If worse comes to worse you know where to score some test.

Lmao. My doctor already made a comment about my quads, there not big but to a non lifter theyre tree trunks lol. I think I do need to just drop my doctor though because this next cycle I have planned will send up red flags for my next visit. He's a good guy and I don't wanna lie to him (I never have srs)

What have you got to lose. Call back and ask for a call back or a consult appt. All he can do is tell you to find another doc. You might find he can help if he understands your situation.
