Canadian Judge Robert Philp thinks steroids are extremely frightening

[SIZE=-1]Matthew Richard Piasecki, 23, was handed a six-year prison term after pleading guilty to aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a firearm while prohibited.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Provincial court Judge Robert Philp called it a "disturbing" case with the "all too common" elements of drugs and guns and slammed Piasecki for the "cold, calculated and callous" way he shot the victim from very close range.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]The judge also noted Piasecki's "dangerous use" of anabolic steroids, which he suggested could be worse than using street drugs, and urged him to stay away from them.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]"Cause it's frightening what can happen, extremely frightening," said Philp. [...][/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Gregory said Piasecki started seriously working out after his release from prison and began injecting steroids.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]"His parents and his girlfriend say he went from being an average-tempered guy to a person with an absolutely explosive temper, a temper that was irrational and a temper that would flare up over nothing," said Gregory.[/SIZE]
