Canadian steroid case goes to court next week

[SIZE=-1]The case of a Bridgewater man accused of running an anabolic steroid lab in his spare bedroom and selling the drugs over the Internet is expected to be resolved next week.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Defence lawyer Alan Ferrier said in Bridgewater provincial court Wednesday that three days have been set aside next week to settle the case against Kevin Wayne Tanner.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Mr. Tanner was arrested a year ago when police seized $400,000 worth of drugs, including imported hormones and fake Viagra, $46,000 in U.S. currency and drug paraphernalia.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Mr. Tanner faces charges of smuggling, drug production and trafficking and possessing child pornography. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Police are also going after Mr. Tanners house by charging him under proceeds of crime legislation, saying his home was paid for with dirty money. [/SIZE]
