CArdarine cancer risk

I have some cArdarine on hand that I wanted to use on cycle to keep my lipid profile normal. Since getting the cArdarine im reading about a correlation between cardarine and cancer. I wanted to use 5mg 2x a day. Should I steer clear of this stuff because it’s carcinogenic and causes cancer? Is it safe to take in small to moderate doses for a couple months?
 
I’ve seen some of the cancer studies and it’s concerning but a couple things to consider with the studies being that rat studies aren’t perfect in extrapolation to people. Also the rats were fed extremely high doses for almost the entire duration of their lives which would be like us running a cardarine cycle starting at 18 until we’re 45. It’s just a stupid amount of exposure.

I think with most compounds there is a risk associated like I take Tren knowing there might be cognitive decline when I’m old because of damage from the compound but I accept that risk vs reward. I think that’s what you need to do with cardarine is take a long hard look at yourself in the
Mirror, evaluate what you’re going to be using cardarine for, and ask yourself is the risk potentially of cancer worth the benefits to take it or are there other medications with less risky profiles?

I’ve been enticed by cardarine over the years as a cardio booster but the risk vs reward stops me before I complete the purchase.

That being said a dose under 20mg would be tolerated and if you keep the cycle short your risk would be fairly low but would still exist

I believe it is connected with ingestion and not injection

Cardarine is a carcinogen (regardless of route of administration). It's also not particularly efficacious. The Rise and Fall of Cardarine (GW501516) - MESO-Rx
I don't dispute your POV, simply that the dosing in those studies is astronomically higher than we've seen as advisable to use. 3mg/kg I think was the lowest dose for carcinogenic outcomes. most users go 5-20mg per day. (I know rat dosing =/= human dosing of course). Do you think there is reasonable (and I stress that word) risk/reward in such scenarios?

The 2-year rodent carcinogenicity bioassay is not intended to determine dose-response in humans for cancers because doing so would be entirely unethical. This is an accepted model to determine carcinogenicity. I think that there is no rational basis for cardarine use considering it is useless crap (do you even know what "cholesterol efflux" is, honestly?), essentially negating the reward weighing, and the risks are very high, considering this is a proven carcinogen.

I've used this a number of times, specifically when running long distance. And I noticed no endurance benefits at all, personally. Some people claim it has helped them though. I'm not going to bother anymore, especially with the studies done.

same tbh. I do see great cardio benefits with 1500mg of Meldonium though. no further benefits in my experience beyond that dose, and I've tried lots. I believe studies back this as well.

I used it years ago, either 500 or 1000mg a day and didn't notice much. I could try 1500 to see. I see Amazon still has sellers overseas, you know if it's legit, looks like it ad its pharma boxes. Lmk if you have a cheaper supplier, that's where I bought it like 5 years ago.
