Cardio not in AM... when and what is best

I work too early to do AM cardio but my knees make it hard to do hiit and the gym I go to doesn't have anything but treadmill and come bikes that hurt my nuts too much.

Will cardio at night be effective? Moderate to low intensity cardio in the AM works great for me, I'm just hoping cardio at night will work nearly as well.

Maybee do it after lifting? I've never done anything but am for any amount of time because nothing else seemed to work as immediatly as AM does.

Morning is definitely the best time to do cardio (on an empty stomach). But, if that is not possible, do your cardio immediately following your workout. If all you have is treadmills and bikes, try doing the treadmill on the highest incline until you reach somewhere around 18 beats per 10 seconds. There is no need to run and put stress on the knees. Doing the treadmill at a fast walk on incline works very well for most. You will also get a decent calf and hamstring workout. :) I hope that helps.

I agree the morning is better for reasons you are already aware of however like the above post says if you do it postworkout then you are in a similar situation as you would be in the morning....if you don't over consume then your carbs will be burnt by the time your cardio is starting thus burning more fat.

Thanks,

All of that is what I expected to hear. I'm not just looking to get more cut or trim I really would like to be 6% before too long and think it's within reach. Once I drop my DNP water I suspect I'll be aroung 8%. Does any of this make s big difference in what I should do? I know alot about fat burners and even more about diet but very little about cardio and never do it eccept maybe 2 times a week when under 10%.

It really doesnt matter what time of day you do cardio. The same workout you do in the morning will produce the same results if done in the evening.
