Ok when doing cardio is it a must to stay in my target heart rate??because most of the time im in my cardiovascular range which is well over my MTR. I hate running like a mad dog, so can I just walk at a rate that keeps me in my MTR and lose fat or does it really mater as long as im in or over my MTR?

I would think that once you get past a certain point your going to sacrafice muscle. I seem to end up in the 130-140 range by the time I'm done. 35-45 min................11

It really doesnt matter a great deal. If youre doing cardio, then just keep your heart rate at 60%+ of your estimated MHR. Somewhere between 60-80% is fine.
