CARPAL TUNNEL-TRIGGER FINGER-PAIN & SWELLING

@clearheaded
I suffer from bone and ankle damage in the ankle. In addition, I am a little agile, which is not good for the joints. I need help. But after your post I will cancel my peptide order. Unfortunately I only know half of it. Do you have another recommendation for me?

just read some more... I often go over the top to make my point but most peptides are well tolerated, just important to know what we know and what we don't..

id look up PT work outs for ur issues, eat well, get omegas, D, K, magnesium... a little gh isn't going to kill u, low doses, cycled for a specific thing likely can be helpful. some extra fluid is just padding, if get too much can just stop...

really depends on what ur issue is man. talk to dr if too fragile. may just need a corticosteroid shot or religious Physical therapy..

I know you didn't tag me but why not take generic HGH instead of Ipa and CJC? pretty much the same price

remember, your "citations" are places that are selling peptides ;)

less studies and less long term studies = less side effects....
Yes, however, it makes complete sense that the GH-secreting peptides are a better choice from a health optimization perspective since they give the body instructions to allow a natural secretion of GH/IGF-1 in line with its pulsatile rhythm in contrast to dumping a bolus of exogenous GH at times your body may not need it. Exogenous GH may get quicker results, but at what cost? Of course, in those with GHD, GH is the gold standard since their pituitary function is compromised and peptides won't work. I had a GH stimulation test before starting peptides to rule this out.
In my case, the peptides worked too well as you can see from my elevated IGF-1 and the reported side effects which is the topic of my post.

This is also in the book by Dr. Seeds. Thank you

Unfortunately it can take months. Currently having CTs from HGH right now. I’m on week 6. Left hand continues to be numb throughout the day. Right somewhat better. Thinking of making the appt to see if I qualify for release surgery.
I started qsc blue tops hgh and my hands and forearms would go numb and burn like crazy when I would sleep. After about four months it finally started to go away. I am running 2ius twice a day.

Very detailed post. A quick search of the keywords you posted shows a clear correlation between UGL GH, GH secretagogue peptides, IGF-1... and these side effects.

The difference is UGL v Pharmacy (quality/ingredients). Please anyone else enlighten more on this subject and remove bias because if any user has consumed/experimented with the 2 (ugl/pharmacy), 96.1% agree the side effects correlate with origin (UGL/Pharma) and dose. You could MAYBE get away with lower doses of UGL so side effects dont arise (as quickly). And also remove other inflammatory PEDS (Carrier oils ex: MCT).

If you do fall into that ~4% of users who experience sides with pharmacy grade peptides, use a different brand or just drop them. Otherwise the answer is UGL = edema/trigger finger/inflammation, etcetc.

Worse would be your knee joints getting pain. Thx for your post.
I dont think it has much do to with ugl vs pharma. I have existing cts from overuse. However I have been on direct from US pharmacy omnitropen and I have never been able to sustain more than 2iu SC a day. I am in a constant state of pain in my hands. Sometimes unbearable. I am highly considering the release surgery. I do Architectural Window Tinting so I have to put pressure on that area almost every day. I need to know some real life recovery times.

I had surgery on my left arm. I'm on 3.6iu GH daily.
I got medical advise to start on low dose GH and adjust 0.6iu every 10 days.
0.6-1.2-1.8 etc. More people who do direct + 2iu, get more often CTS complaints.

For those with experience with GH, GH secretagogue peptides, IGF-1...

Some quick background:
  • First signs of trigger finger, carpal/cubital tunnel (numbness) started in early 2019.
  • Had TF surgery (percutaneous release) in June, 2020 - successful outcome.
  • Slow progression in a few other digits since, but no pain
  • Started GH-promoting peptides (CJC-1295/ipamorelin 200mcg/200mcg; tesamorelin 1-2mg) in July, 2022
  • IGF-1 went from a baseline of 250 to over 500 within weeks (see labs below).
  • Joint pain, muscle aches, pitting edema in ankles started around March, 2023.
  • Edema dissipated, but CTS/TF worsened.
  • Spread to my other digits and even thumbs which I never had a problem with before.
  • Stiffness and now pain has spread to all fingers except for the finger that was previously released from surgery.
  • Discontinued all GH-promoting peptides 4 days ago.
So the CTS/TF issues were there before starting the peptides, but the peptides seems to have made them worse. This is where I'm frustrated because these peptides are supposed to be for healing, NOT to make the joint issues worse!

I like the recomp effects thus far and want to keep using these peptides but am concerned with the carpal tunnel + joint pain/trigger finger worsening. and am worried about the increased IGF-1 and cancer risk. Diet and training is on point not much more I can do in those department. Appetite is strong. Tesamorelin, in particular, is the strongest and quickest in terms of seeing visible results. But it also has the most pronounced side effects.
Latest labs showed a significant elevation in IGF-1 and Z score but not GH or GRH since starting the peptides. You can see in my previous post.

I like the recomp effects thus far and want to keep using these peptides but am concerned if the carpal tunnel + joint pain/trigger finger don't taper off + am worried about chronically-increased IGF-1 and cancer risk. Diet and training are on point, not much more I can do in that department. Appetite is strong. Tesamorelin in particular is the strongest and quickest in terms of seeing visible results. But it also spikes IGF-1 big time.

Questions/concerns:
  1. Is elevated IGF-1 to blame for the pain, swelling, edema - or GH (though my GH is not elevated?
  2. Does anyone know if the carpal tunnel and joint stiffness dissipates over time (the edema around my ankles seems to have subsided even before stopping)?
  3. Is IGF-1 is the main marker that is responsible for lipolysis and muscle hyperplasia from increasing GH?
  4. The CT numbness is most prevalent when on the elliptical machine after about 15 minutes. I have to rest my hands for about 30 secs to alleviate the numbness. I had that slightly before taking the peptides, but now it's much worse.
  5. Even with gloves and doing lifts that don't require a strong grip (like pushing on a bar), Imy fingers get completely inflamed, stiff, and cannot move them within hours post workout. I can also feel it in my shoulders.
  6. My surgeon said bilateral TF is not common which is concerning. He suggested to have a nerve conduction test to see the extent of the CTS. As to the TF, I am scheduled for release surgery at the of the month. I hope stopping the GH peptides for now will reverse the crippling effects of pain and swelling.

Your question was interesting. I had CT issues before starting hgh but the pain became so unbearable after about 2 months I stopped and scheduled surgery 3 months later because the issues never got better. I'm 3 weeks after surgery now and the carpal tunnel pain and numbness is completely gone. I had a non evasive procedure done and had both hands done in one day. I'm frustrated because I have 1400.00 worth of hgh that I'm looking at everyday. I was wondering (because I was to nervous to ask the dr) do you think hgh frag will do the same? Also will doing hgh again reverse the effects of my surgery? I guess I could ask my Dr but I'm sure he'll say not to do it anymore. I brought up to the assistant working for him the subject of hgh worsening CT and he said he'd never heard of such a thing. I honestly want to use the hgh only for the leaning out benefits. I was amazed at how easily I stayed lean while using it. I thank you for and suggestions or advice.

If you get the release surgery (I just did 3 weeks ago because I couldn't take the pain anymore) do you think doing hgh again would cause the same results? How about hgh frag? I honestly want to use it for the fat burning properties. Hgh helped me stay lean without too much effort but the pain was too much. I was only doing 1iu a day and eventually got off and 3 months later I still couldn't sleep and driving was unbearable on my hands. I'm 3 weeks post surgery and I literally feel great. I had the simple surgery done at a place called Carpal tunnel express. Took about 30 minutes to do both hands no stitches and I was back at work in 3 days. My palms are still sore and wrists are not 100% but overall I feel great. Work outs have been minimal but I'm still getting work in. I have 1400.00 worth of hgh just sitting on the shelves because I'm scared to use it. I'd love to do hgh frag if I thought it wouldn't cause CT to flare up again. Any suggestions?

If you use search to check the forum you’ll see a handful of people who had the surgery can use HGH without issue now. Is it safe or stupid? No idea.

Samples I sent in under my company. The peptide purveyor was Peptide Sciences. As far as I'm concerned, they have a solid reputation, but I needed to analyze them before injecting this stuff in my body.
This may be an old conversation; however, have you tested any further suppliers? After 3 months reviewing and reading, I made a small purchase as the thread was very very consistent so far as quality and labs. Sorry if you'd rather no share.

There are *a lot* of suppliers I would use before peptide science.

How's the hand? I am having a similar experience with mk677. Although my symptoms don't sound as severe as yours, I found an increase in potassium and water has helped me with the pain.
