Carrier oil trial and error experience to share

Just wanting to share my experiences so hopefull can help others as they go down this path as well.

I'm doing daily subq injections mostly just to limit the injection volume and mostly to get in a routine so I'm not missing doses or forgetting to take them on schedule.

I started TRT with a clinic and used the pharma stuff they sent. That was GSO based, no other solvents that I can see, 200mg/ml concentration and went through perfect for that first 10 weeks until the blood work.

I also bought a bunch of stock of 250mg/ml and 300mg/ml test E from UGL sources. This was MCT oil with some EO that wasnt declared but community revealed tests showed EO present.

As soon as the 10 week blood panel was done I switched from the pharma stuff at 150mg/week over to the UGL at 250mg/week. Started out the same as before. But started noticing that some injections would leave behind some "marbles" or nodules. No pain, swelling or discoloration so it wasnt a immune response to anything. But doing some digging, it appears that MCT clears remarkably fast, fast enough that it can leave the test behind, which can cause these nodules. They'll be there until the ester is cleaved and the test is absorbed, but I also noticed that this process also makes the absorbtion very uneven.

So i switched and got some known UGL Test E250 from a source here, no EO and GSO. Started that and that resolved the issue. I'm now back to like how things were with the pharma, where the injections are smooth, painless, and leave no nodules.

Wanted to share if you have this issue and notice it. I've seen this be a complaint in other threads as to why someone would suggest against subq. After some serious digging, this is the cause. Just change the carrier oil and it should fix what's going on if you experience this.

That's why most people hate eo.
I'm not convinced it's an EO reaction at least with me. Based on the actual nodule sizes and the fact that they're not painful or swelling or warm, it feels like it's just the tissue walled off to break down the test that remains. I only opted for non-EO supply or known no-EO just for helping to rule it out. I have a feeling it's just the carrier oil as MCT can break down and clear out in hours, vs GSO takes several days to a week.

Yes, and bloodwork shows no increased CRP or other inflammatory markers. Hence I'm not convinced after doing a lot of digging around that this is an immune response
No offense, you've never ran it before. And you're drawing conclusions based on what you read. C reactive protein isnt the end all be all of minor localized reactions. You are describing a classic reaction to eo, but you are imagining your body to be special for some reason. And you are completely wrong about the mct clearing in mere hours and leaving the test alone subq. It would crystallize and leave serious pip if that were the case.

Ok, I'm dumb. I switched my thryoid meds from the levothyroxine pill to a liquid formulation; a 10 year routine with the pills and had the liquid pouches in my medicine cabinet out of sight. So I forgot to take it more often than not....approximately 30 days worth. The reaction seems to be from being severely hypothyroid from missing meds more often than not.

I started getting the same reactions from the pharma, since I switched back to that to heal. And then I started getting similar reactions to my peptide injections and started bruising a bit easier.

The Test and GH blunted other symptoms so i didnt notice it until the thyroid blood test came around and TSH of 45 FT4 of 0.29. Also explains other things like my hematocrit being lower than expected. Doc said that it's likely because the thyroid slowed down lymphatic metabolism which is slowing uptake of injections, which is triggering a bit more of a reaction to injections. Will update once confirmed that it was just that, it will be another 4 weeks for those levels to normalize again.

Btw: I switched because of sporadic absorbtion issues since like it seems everything will block t4 absorbtion in the gut. I was hoping this would be more stable but wont know that until I am able to take it more consistently. And yes this threw a BUNCH of blood markers out of whack. Thankfully I know the cause and it's not concerning...was on the way to correcting even before the test but it takes several weeeks to normalize.

As an update, I've been fixing the thyroid med issue for almost 3 weeks now, and as of now I've not gotten a new reaction in over a week - telling me that the issue was the low thyroid hormone causing the lumps/reactions.

New routine: Wake up, take levothyroxine, put test vial on the mug warmer and let it warm up for about 15-20 mins. Seems to be restoring FT4 and FT3 levels back to normal. Another 3 weeks before proper normalization though. But this is a good sign that I was just dumb.
