So I don't like being told what to do ESPECIALLY when followed by an "Or Else" thus I never participate in the Census and it's never been an issue, this morning I'm enjoying my coffee and this butch ass bitch bangs on my door and then questions me about the census and I tell her I'm not interested and she says in a stern butch voice "YOU NEED TO DO IT RIGHT NOW!"

The way I see it is today it's a mandatory census, tomorrow it's a mandatory covid vaccine and after that who knows what. I don't give the inch others turn into a mile!

Your protest does not matter. If you do not cooperate, then they guess. That is how it works.

The census was put into the constitution by the Founders in Article 1, Section 2 for purposes of taxation (of course, now they have the 16th amendment, so they do not need that anymore).

But the Founders had an idea of citizenship that did involve mandatory doing of things, e.g., drilling on the town square in the local militia if you were 17 to 45, being required to show up with a working, militia quality weapon or be fined for failure to do so, &c.

We have gotten lazy about a lot of that due to growing government, hiring professional police forces and the largest military budget in the world (no other country spends even half, and Russia spends about one tenth).
