I was playing around with chatgpt and it actually gave me a step by step tutorial on how to make Test E. Can anyone who knows what they're doing factcheck chatgpt and see if it has anything wrong, and if it does, what would you change/add?

Testosterone Enanthate (Test E) Brewing Tutorial – Precise and Detailed

Setup:

Workspace:

  • Ensure you're working in a clean, sterile environment. Ideally, use a laminar flow hood or work in a clean room.
  • Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and wiped down with isopropyl alcohol (70%) to avoid contamination.
  • Wear gloves, a face mask, and protective eyewear to maintain sterility and avoid any direct exposure to powders and chemicals.

Safety Precautions:

  • Always handle chemicals with caution. Benzyl Alcohol (BA) and Benzyl Benzoate (BB) are solvents, and Testosterone Enanthate powder should be handled carefully to avoid inhalation or direct skin contact.
  • Have alcohol wipes and sanitizing solution available for cleaning equipment and surfaces.

Ingredients and Equipment Needed:

Ingredients:

  1. Testosterone Enanthate Powder (Active Ingredient)49.5g
  2. Carrier Oil (e.g., Grapeseed Oil or MCT Oil)121.28ml
  3. Benzyl Alcohol (BA)1.65ml (1% BA for sterility)
  4. Benzyl Benzoate (BB)Optional, 12.13ml (10% BB, used to help prevent crashing at higher concentrations, recommended for concentrations above 300mg/ml)

Equipment:

  1. Sterile Vials – For storing the final product (e.g., 10ml vials).
  2. Sterile Syringes:
    • 1ml or 3ml Syringe – For precise measurement of small volumes (e.g., BA and BB).
    • 10ml or 20ml Syringe – For measuring larger volumes like the carrier oil (121.28ml).
  3. Precise Digital Scale – For weighing the active ingredient powder (Test E). Must be able to measure in milligrams (mg) for accurate dosing.
  4. Whatman Zap Cap Filters – For filtering out undissolved particles and impurities (0.22 micron).
  5. Beaker/Flask – For holding and mixing the ingredients during preparation.
  6. Hot Plate/Heater – To gently warm the solution and aid in dissolving the powder. Set temperature to 50–60°C (122–140°F).
  7. Clean Stirring Rod or Thin Card – For thorough mixing of the active ingredient and oil.
  8. Alcohol Wipes – For sanitizing all equipment before and after use.
  9. Graduated Cylinder (Optional, for very accurate measurements) – For measuring liquids like oils and solvents.
  10. Thermometer – To ensure you're heating the solution to the correct temperature.

Accurate Measurements:

For Small Volumes (e.g., 1.65ml BA or 12.13ml BB):

  • 1ml or 3ml Syringe: Use a 1ml syringe for measuring 1.65ml of BA. To get 12.13ml of BB, first draw 10ml using a 10ml syringe and then add the remaining 2.13ml using a 1ml syringe.

For Larger Volumes (e.g., 121.28ml of Oil):

  • Graduated Cylinder: If you have a graduated cylinder (e.g., 100ml), measure 121.28ml of oil directly by filling the cylinder up to the appropriate level.
  • 10ml or 20ml Syringe: If using syringes, fill the syringe and transfer to the mixing bowl. Repeat as needed to reach the desired volume (e.g., 121.28ml).

Weighing Active Ingredient (Test E) Powder:

  • Use a precise digital scale that can measure down to milligrams (mg). Weigh 49.5g of Testosterone Enanthate. Ensure the scale is calibrated before use.

Step-by-Step Brewing Process:

1. Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Weigh the Active Ingredient (Test E): Accurately weigh 49.5g of Testosterone Enanthate powder using the precise digital scale.
  • Measure Carrier Oil: Measure 121.28ml of your chosen carrier oil (e.g., Grapeseed or MCT oil). Use a graduated cylinder or 10ml/20ml syringe to get the exact volume.
  • Measure Benzyl Alcohol (BA): Measure 1.65ml of BA using a 1ml or 3ml syringe.
  • Optional: Measure Benzyl Benzoate (BB): If you're making a concentration above 300mg/ml, measure 12.13ml of Benzyl Benzoate (BB). First, draw 10ml with a 10ml syringe and then add 2.13ml with a 1ml syringe to achieve the precise total.

2. Mix the Active Ingredient with the Oil:

  • Add the Test E Powder: Add 49.5g of Testosterone Enanthate powder to your mixing bowl.
  • Gradually Add Carrier Oil: Slowly pour in 121.28ml of carrier oil into the mixing bowl with the powder. Use a stirring rod or thin card to gently mix the powder and oil.
  • If the powder does not dissolve immediately, place the mixing bowl on a hot plate or heating pad and set it to 50–60°C (122–140°F). Stir occasionally.
    • Heating Tip: Heating should not exceed 60°C (140°F) to avoid degrading the active ingredient. This will help to dissolve the powder into the oil.

3. Add Solvents (BA and BB) to the Solution:

  • Add Benzyl Alcohol (BA): Once the powder has dissolved into the oil, add 1.65ml of Benzyl Alcohol (BA) to the mixture. Stir well.
  • Add Benzyl Benzoate (BB): If brewing at concentrations higher than 300mg/ml, slowly add 12.13ml of Benzyl Benzoate (BB) and stir until completely dissolved.

4. Ensure Full Dissolution and Clarity:

  • Stir the Solution: Continue to mix the solution until the mixture is clear and the active ingredient is fully dissolved. If necessary, reheat gently and stir.
  • Ensure there are no floating particles or crystals. If the solution appears cloudy, heat it again at 50–60°C (122–140°F) and continue stirring.

5. Filter the Solution:

  • After confirming the solution is completely dissolved and clear, it’s time to filter the mixture to remove any undissolved particles.
    • Use a Whatman Zap Cap Filter or any sterile 0.22 micron filter.
    • Draw the solution into a 20ml or 50ml syringe, and slowly push it through the filter into a clean container.
    • Ensure the filtering process is done in a sterile environment.

6. Vial the Solution:

  • Once the solution has been filtered, transfer it into sterile vials.
    • Use sterile syringes to avoid contamination.
    • Label the vials with the concentration (e.g., Testosterone Enanthate 300mg/ml) and include the batch date.

7. Optional – Let the Solution Settle:

  • If there’s any sign of cloudiness or crystallization, gently heat the vials again at 50°C (122°F) until the solution becomes clear.
  • Shake the vials gently to ensure the mixture is uniform.

8. Final Quality Check:

  • Check Clarity: The final solution should be clear, with no visible crystals or suspended particles.
  • Check Stability: If BB was used, make sure the solution does not precipitate or form crystals. The solution should remain stable and clear.

9. Storing the Solution:

  • Store the final product in cool, dark conditions, away from light and heat.
    • Ideal Storage Temperature: Keep it at room temperature (around 20-25°C/68-77°F) or slightly cooler.
  • Avoid Freezing the solution as it may alter the solubility of the compounds.

Conclusion:

By following these precise steps and using the correct measurements and temperatures, you can brew Testosterone Enanthate (Test E) at a concentration of 300mg/ml. The key to success is ensuring:

  • Proper dissolution of the active ingredient
  • Accurate measurements for solvents (BA and BB)
  • Sterile conditions throughout the process

Always perform a final check for clarity and stability to ensure the highest quality product.

Yeah i agree, just wanted to see how chatgpt did. when i homebrew ill definitely be looking the sticky posts on meso :)

That's what I do, just click on a sticky or any similar thread, and then branch from there into other threads. And while you're doing that just take notes. Because ultimately, you will write your own instructions better for things that make sense to you in your own way.

I have things written in great detail that other people may only need 2 sentences for, and vice versa.

I wouldn't use ChatGPT for brewing, Meso has a lot of tutorials that you can follow.
I would absolutely use LLMs, The current models are extremely reasoning oriented, I have had ZERO "hallucinations" and this is when I use to for hours for my job.

This Tech is MUHC better than 99% of Meso members (not much of a marker tbh) for getting feedback if you know how to ask good questions.

they are absolutely dogpiss. the number of LLMs that told me that the shorter the ester the higher the concentration is astounding. (test prop goes up to 350, while Test U starts crashing at 100mg/ml amirite fellas?)
Also, test E only goes to 200 while cyp can go much higher, simply because the ester chain is ???shorter??.
Stupid stuff like that, plus the carrier oil recs are aslo batshit insane. Also never any mention of filtering.

the BA/BB ratios are also completely off, you gotta know how to brew already to tickle the information out of them bit by bit, at least 4 months ago. massive waste of time imo.
If I hadnt known how to brew I would have genuinely wasted so much money & raws doing ridiculous brews and not understanding why I am failing.
LLMtards are a plague, man.

Hello, please compromise PERSEC.
hell nah.

Prompt was:

Share commonly used recipes for various injectable Testosterone medicines produced in compounding pharmacies across the United states and Europe.
Include only recipes using Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol, a single Carrier Oil and the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient. Also include seperate recipes using the maximum possible milligram per milliliter for each testosterone ester.

Include Testoterone Enanthate, Testosterone Cypionate, Testosterone Propionate, Testosterone Undecanoate, Testosterone Decanoate and Testosterone Isocaproate, all of which are used in pharmaceutical settings.

(using Deepseek, whichever GPT was the most up to date Q3/Q4 last year, Perplexity (this one was the closest to being usable, it one was prompted around Q2 though) and a few others.)

not being a contratian btw, I just find it a bit yucky that you are framing yourself as this top 1% of contributing Meso members while not being a very active/productive member of the community.
part of the 1%

Reading your posts feels as if you are massively overestimating your impact and knowledge, especially seeing as you are not really responding to technical/scientific/ in depth discussions, moreso replying to entertainment/redundant threads with low impact responses.
Kind of remind me of the kids of my indian neighbour when they were in their late teens.

Very know-it-all and annoying/the opposite of humble because they got into a technical university (not horribly competitive, 35% of applicants were admitted) on their second attempt while their friends did not.
So please, do better. Be kinder. It will help in many aspects of your life.

Tl;dr:
Holy ego. You remind me of 2 people who I recognised as being annoying overconfident pricks back when I was a barely literate child.

also, be more inquisitive/ curious.
sorry for the indian comment btw, just looked at your intro and realized you are located in india.

It could be percieved as a slight towards you, but the anecdote about my neighbours sons is real/not something made up to insult your nationality.

That says more about your job than anything else. I'm in the IT field myself and am constantly deep into papers on how terrible LLM models are at math. This has been proven over and over with benchmarks. Here take a look:

LLM-math-performance-benchmarks.webp

You may think 76.6% is good until you find out that the MATH benchmark consists solely of high-school level math problems. So ask yourself, do you trust AI to measure your testosterone if it's this terrible at math?

To put this into perspective, if your kid is an C student in high-school, he would be better at measuring testosterone for you.

at least you can train children without too much of a hassle/ tens of thousands to millions of USD in computing costs.

Brother no disrespect but you are living in Feb of 2025 talking about 4o, we have leagues smarter models now,

you can use them for free on AI studio -> aistudio.google.com/prompts/new_chat

try the gemini 3.1 and ask for your homebrew, It will Blow you away

I will not be a parrot and get into the same repeated arguments,

just 3 days back, I used opus to create a microservice in a day for Lidar sensors something, normally this would take me a week at least,

it had somewhat maths heavy (Touched Masters level linear algebra), I spent maybe 8-9 prompts for the whole thing post feeding it few papers i found while using another LLM to search for,

Your opinion holds no value when we are shipping services that DO NOT break and PASS out quality checks, output are there, what else is there to see when its obvious LLMs are becoming better every passing month.

Code quality? just another think to train the LLMs on, seecurity checks? Clause just launched their Claude Code Security,

every flaw pointed out is another thing to solve and improve,

thank you for pointing out it sucks at maths (it actually does not, it depends on model you are using), it will get better via your criticism

Nobody is stalking you, calm down. You claimed to be in the top 1% of Meso, obviously people will want to take a look at why you think so highly of yourself.

ah shit, I was being humorous, like a troll mostly.

i have just 1 natty competitive experience where i weighed 57 Kgs at 170 cm on stage,

I started Test just 4 weeks after seeing my stage pics, I have never used anything other than Primo, test and Peptides,

ofcourse i am not as knowledgeable as more "Experienced" folks here but I am pretty confident in my intelligence so some degree of Smugness is there.

Brother no disrespect but you are living in Feb of 2025 talking about 4o, we have leagues smarter models now,

This is actually still a huge problem in the field of AI, here's a Harvard article from last week:

And Harvard isn't the only one saying this:

It's alright at certain coding languages, I'll give you that, but it's struggling with accuracy in most other fields. I won't stop you though, to each their own. I prefer human interaction and direct sources (studies, articles, forums etc.) myself.

  • After confirming the solution is completely dissolved and clear, it’s time to filterthe mixture to remove any undissolved particles.

Mate what have you done there? 49.5g for how many ml total? 49.5g of what purity? Why calculate carrier oil volume and then mention BB amount as optional?

What is this dogshit "heat to max 60c" then "don't exceed 60c to avoid degradation", why would you heat testosterone enanthate to 50-60c when it melts at just above 30c? Why are you putting cold powder and cold oil in a "mixing bowl" and trying to mix it? Ever heard of a beaker?

Why would you check if it crystallizes *only* if you add BB? You do realize that if its crystallizing early on, chances are you have to reheat it over and over and that it will crystallize in your muscle too and cause PIP, and the only way would be to adjust BB content, if you can't do the research on how to brew yourself, there's a high risk you will mess this step up.

Why are you not filterig directly into a presealed sterilized vial? You do realize that if you don't, and pour into a "container", you need an autoclave machine to sterilize that container plus the open vials, and an enclosed system with a flow hood - this alone costs you so much that the point of homebrewing becomes obsolete, just buy from a source instead.

You don't know enough about LLMs to be making the arguments for them. You are only getting a limited amount of processing power for each query, and thus limited reach in database. That means that if you don't know what the LLM is answering, such that you give it the correct follow up answers, it's like being given directions by someone blind. The LLM doesn't have any research journals or textbooks to go through for homebrew and is probably basing all this on reddit posts, compiling relevant speech that often makes no sense. Like how it tells you to dissolve test e, how it tells you to filter it et.c.

Obviously, I am not going to listen to A.I for homebrewing, especially since I'm a newbie. I was just trying to test how an LLM did, I wasn't for it nor against it, was just eager to get some insight from people who actually know how to homebrew. This is not for actually homebrewing with a chatgpt recipe, rather a curious venture into human knowledge vs A.I in taboo topics such as this.
