Uh.. You guys are missing something important here. Milk Thistle in and of itself doesn't do shit. It's the active constituent in it is called Silymarin. This is the active phytochemical in the milk thistle that helps the liver. Specifically it works to remove toxins and enhance liver enzyme functions. The product posted above isn't standardized, ie. doesn't show how much Silymarin is in it. It shows that it has 500mg of just bulk Milk thistle(Silybum marianum). If there's no Silymarin in it (which is usually the case and why it's so cheap) then you can whipe your ass with it cause that's all it's good for. The one I use is 350mg standardized to 80% which leaves it at 280mg/Silymarin. This is what a typical label should look like:
